Dear friends, the Hive is temporarily closed to the public for an undetermined time while our private artist community takes full advantage of the space.
As many of you know, the Hive is a private studio space and hang out that we occassionly rent to the public for their own private events. Using our space for photoshoot, however, is still possible during this time. Our apologies, if we are unable to get back to email requests during the fall of 2011 and 2012.

Hive is an inviting lounge-styled art salon located in historic
Russian Hill near chic restaurants and cafes. The
homey space is an excellent environment for cozy soirées
under 50 persons.The
private art salon evokes the striking effect of an urban gallery
space with 12ft high ceilings, vintage and modern furnishings,
and dark hardwood style floors.
Our
elegant 1600 sq ft space has been used for engagement parties,
holiday fetes, photo shoots, trunk shows, book readings, and all
sorts of gatherings.
The salon can also be easily set up for corporate meetings, functions,
or lectures.
